My Story

I lead and execute user-centered design initiatives for digital products and experiences across B2B, B2C, and SaaS platforms within the Financial Services industry. My approach balances innovation with a strategic focus on achieving measurable business goals. This expertise extends to both design team leadership and hands-on design.

In the beginning

I always knew that I wanted to design experiences in some way, shape, or form. My high school yearbook captured my dream: designing for Disney Imagineering. In my college years, before the internet transformed the way we create and consume media, I honed my artistic skills in production design, scenic design, and artistic direction for film and theatrical productions.
How does that relate to UX design? It's actually the same job, but with less paint cleanup and fewer X-ACTO knife accidents!
Both roles are crucial in immersing audiences in the story and bridging the gap between the narrative and the experience.

My journey

Agency life

The dot-com era opened doors to exciting opportunities. I dove headfirst into the world of digital design, working as a Senior Art Director with leading NYC marketing and consulting firms such as iXL, Scient, and Razorfish. My area of focus was on the Financial Services industry and I worked on high-profile projects for General Electric, Citi, TD Bank, TIAA-CREF, and Morgan Stanley.

In-house design

While agency work offers a dynamic environment, I was drawn to the opportunity to create a deeper impact through design of a Financial Advisor platform at CitiSmithBarney. Soon after, a joint venture formed that brought me back to Morgan Stanley, allowing me to leverage my experiences in a dynamic new context.
I spent 10 years as VP of User Experience, where I was the UX Design Lead and Engagement Manager overseeing the CRM/Client Intelligence, Corporate Communications, HR Technology & Legal accounts. Beyond managing design resources, I fostered strong collaborations with key stakeholders across the firm, ensuring a unified design vision.

Building a smarter future of finance

In late 2018, I joined Broadridge Financial as VP of Design where I led UX design on platforms that facilitate the presentment of transactional and regulatory communications between public companies and their investors.

A key project was a revolutionary communication platform that strengthens the investor-advisor relationship and that simplifies the display of complex information.

In 2022, Broadridge created an Innovation Lab called 605 Studios where I was appointed head of UX Design and responsible for incubating groundbreaking products using emerging tech such as digital assets and blockchain technologies.
